Farm to Table Dinner.
Over the weekend i had an amazing opportunity to participate in a local event hosted by Sarah from The Healthy Locavore. She organized farm to table dinner by partnering up with Forage Hawaii, a pop up meat market and food vendor located at farmer's markets throughout Oahu, Hawaii, as well as local farm Mari's Gardens, a working farm that uses aquaponics and hydroponics to grow a variety of vegetables, fruits and fish.
Throughout the evening i not only had an opporutiy to photograph the process and effort it takes to prepare 5 course dinner for 50 people but also taste every single dish Sarah and her team created. To say it was out of this world amazing doesn't even begin to describe how delicious the food was and how great this event turned out.
I am looking forward to attending other events hosted by talented and amazing chef Sarah.
But for now i am only left with these pictures and the memories of lovely atmosphere, great conversation with other guests, and unforgettable 5 course dinner creation. Stay tuned and if we are lucky Sarah will post a recipe or two on her blog in the near future.
